Winnipeg—Employees of Lode-King Industries, a grain trailer and flat-deck manufacturer, working at the company’s plants in Winkler, Manitoba, voted in favour of a new collective agreement.
The new three-year contract includes a 2.8% wage increase on average in year 1, retroactive to January 1, 2011, with additional increases in years 2 and 3 of the agreement guaranteed to beat the rate of inflation. The contract also includes expanded bereavement leave.
The employees are members of Lode King Workers’ Association Local 204.
