Ledcor Coatings & Insulation Employees Ratify First Agreement

Edmonton—Local 63 members employed by Ledcor Coatings & Insulation Ltd. unanimously ratified their first collective agreement.

The 32-month agreement provides an initial increase of two percent to base wages, with a further 1.75 percent increase in March 2013 and wage reviews every six months thereafter, as well as employer-paid benefits and a retirement package that includes both an RSP and pension plan.

The twenty employees are split between work in a paint shop in Nisku and working at site in Fort McMurray doing insulation.
