Jessica Jones Wins CLAC Scholarship

Cambridge, ON—Jessica Jones of Hamilton has won a $1,500 CLAC scholarship. Jessica is enrolled in the honours kinesiology co-op program at the University of Waterloo. Her mother, Mary Rose Jones, works at the Pine Villa Nursing Home as a personal support worker in Stoney Creek and serves as a steward.

CLAC awards 12 scholarships annually to members currently working for CLAC-organized employers, or their spouses or children. CLAC considers applicants who support CLAC’s objectives of bringing respect, dignity, and fairness to the workplace community and a cooperative approach to labour relations.
