Cornerstone Employees Vote Decisively in Favour of New Contract

Bonnyville, AB—Employees of Cornerstone Industrial Ltd. voted decisively in favour of a new collective agreement that will provide them with wage increases totalling 8.49 percent over the two-and-a-half-year term.

Ninety-five percent of members at the ratification vote approved the contract, which also provides increases to the pension plan, training and apprenticeship funds, and health and welfare plan.

The 139 employees are members of Construction Workers Union, Local 63, and are currently working on two construction projects in Alberta.
