CLAC Takes Part in Oilsands Information Tour

CLAC was recruited by the Alberta government to help explain the economic and social benefits of developing the Alberta oilsands and the efforts being undertaken to minimize the environmental impact. Wayne Prins, Fort McMurray director, accompanied several Alberta cabinet ministers recently on an information tour of Ontario. With more than 6,000 members working in the Fort McMurray and Cold Lake regions, CLAC has a unique, first hand perspective on the impact of the oilsands development on Canadian workers and the economy.
