Edmonton¾CLAC is pleased to announce that the Alberta government has appointed Derek Schreiber, a long-time CLAC representative, to the Alberta Labour Relations Board.
Along with 20 years of experience representing CLAC members, primarily in the retail industry, Schreiber brings an abundance of energy and understanding of labour relations to the position. He was a key developer of CLAC’s ground-breaking Cooperate to Win program, a conflict management training tool for union stewards and frontline managers.
“This appointment is an honour for me personally but also for CLAC,” says Schreiber. “It recognizes the fact that CLAC is one of Alberta’s leading labour unions.”
