Delegates to CLAC's 2010 National Convention, which was held in BC recently, voted overwhelmingly to call on the BC government to raise the minimum wage to $10.25 per hour followed by annual cost of living adjustments.
CLAC delegates also voted to ask the BC government to strictly enforce existing restrictions governing speed and lane controls in construction work zones and to increase public awareness of this issue.
