Aurora, ON—Employees of CEC Mechanical voted in favour of a renewed collective agreement, which provides total package increases of over 8.5 percent.
In addition to wage increases in each year of the three-year agreement, employees will see improvements in clothing allowance and the introduction of contributions to the union’s Industry Fund.
CEC employees are represented by Construction Workers Local 52. “This is a good settlement for the employees," says J. D. Alkema, a CLAC representative. "I'm pleased the parties were able to negotiate this agreement.”
