Alexandria Moulding Employees Choose CLAC

Alexandria, ON—Unionized employees of Moulure Alexandria Moulding chose to do away with their old union and become members of CLAC.

In a vote supervised by the Ontario Labour Relations Board, nearly seventy percent of employees who cast a ballot voted in favour of CLAC. The workers had previously been represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 2.

“We are thrilled by the strong mandate given to us by these employees in yesterday’s vote,” says Brendan Kooy, eastern Ontario director. “We look forward to representing this group and delivering the consistent service and representation that the workers deserve.”
