Alberta Automatic Employees Ratify Agreement

Edmonton—Employees of Alberta Automatic Sprinklers Ltd. recently voted in favour of accepting a new collective agreement negotiated between CLAC and the company. The contract includes a 3.5 percent increase to base wage rates effective October 1, 2010, and a 1.3 percent increase to the retirement plan. Alberta Automatic is involved in installing fire suppression sprinkler systems on numerous construction projects in Alberta.
