11% Wage Increase for Saipem Construction Employees

Edmonton—Local 63 members employed by Saipem Construction Canada Inc. voted ninety-three percent in favour of their first collective agreement.

The thirty-month agreement includes wage increases totalling eleven percent, several premiums, a retirement package, benefits, and vacation pay.

Approximately seventy Local 63 members work in the fabrication/warehouse facility in Nisku fabricating modules for the expansion of the Husky Sunrise Facility.
