Scholarships
CLAC members and Local 63 permit holders in good standing, along with their children, grandchildren, and spouses, are eligible for one of twelve $1,500 scholarships available for the 2010–2011 academic year.
Applying is easy.
Download the application form and send it to the nearest CLAC office along with proof of enrolment at an accredited post-secondary institution and a 750-word essay answering the question,
Do strikes advance or hinder the cause of labour unions today?
To be eligible, applications and all supporting documentation must be received no later than July 15, 2010. Scholarship recipients will be announced by September 1, 2010.
* CLAC staff and national board members and their spouses and children are not eligible.
