Trustees
What are trustees?
Trustees are people who are granted legal custodianship over property not belonging to them. The trustees of the CLAC Pension Plan oversee the management of the plan and have a fiduciary duty to act responsibly and exercise care, skill, and diligence when making decisions about the plan. Trustees play an important role in the pension plan.
Who are the plan's trustees?
There are an equal number of employers, union members, and CLAC representatives who serve on the plan's board of trustees. These trustees meet four times a year. Currently the board is made up of:
