Campaigns
CLAC works to bring about positive change on behalf of our members and workers everywhere. We regularly voice concerns to governments, industry leaders, and organizations by bringing to attention issues of injustice. This is a social responsibility that CLAC takes seriously, and we encourage our members and staff to participate. Our collective efforts can make a difference.
Events
Communities require the active engagement of its participants, and labour unions are an important component of the community. Hosting and participating in events allows CLAC to advance the interests of our members while raising awareness of issues of concern to all members of society.

Government Submissions
From time to time, CLAC encourages governments to improve legislation or policy for the sake of better labour relations or working conditions in Canada. CLAC is well positioned to leverage its status in the labour relations community and to speak on behalf of its 47,000-plus members. Society has come a long way from the early days of industrialization, but new technologies, emerging global markets, and changing labour environments present challenges for workers and unions. Government action, where appropriate, is one way to effect positive change for workers.
