02/01/10—Kiewit Energy Employees Ratify New Agreement
Fort McMurray, AB—Local 63 members working for Kiewit Energy on the Kearl Lake oilsands project froth plant site ratified a new collective agreement. The contract provides an immediate 3.6 percent wage increase, with an additional 3.4 percent increase in the spring when construction of the plant begins. In addition to the wage increases, members will enjoy improved shift schedules and be enrolled in the CLAC Pension Plan.
